If you are planning a vacation to Las Vegas you’ll want to know what to pack for your time there. Given that Las Vegas is at the point where three deserts meet the weather is typical of what you would expect, with low humidity in general and warm temperatures all year round. Most days are sunny, with the exception of July and August when you can also expect thunderstorms due to the moist winds blowing in to the area.
Temperatures range from a low of 35 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to as high as 117 in summer. The temperature regularly exceeds 100 degrees in the summer with humidity typically below ten per cent, so it will feel very dry – you need to keep yourself hydrated in this weather! As an overall summary you could expect spring to be warm during the day and generally pleasant, rather like autumn. Summer can be very hot, but of course the hotels and casinos are air-conditioned so you can always escape the worst heat of the day. Winters are mild but can be cool at night.
Any time of year is a good time for visiting Vegas in terms of the weather so you don’t need to worry about what dates you pick, unless you have a fear of thunderstorms, in which case you might want to avoid July and August. In general the weather in Las Vegas makes it a perfect year round destination that anyone can enjoy.
