Las Vegas is renowned for being the hub of gambling in the United States and many people choose to visit this city to experience the glitz and glamour and fun available twenty-four hours a day. There is so much more to Las Vegas than gambling though, so if you’re not a gambler don’t assume this city has nothing to offer you. There are opportunities for fine dining, great hotels with plenty of entertainment on offer, dazzling shows lead by celebrities with astounding performances and fabulous staging, and many outdoor pursuits in the local area. Otherwise you could of course use the city as a base for visiting some of the wonderful tourist spots in the vicinity.
Las Vegas is of course famous for having some of the most resplendent buildings with the utmost in customer service and facilities. However, if you can’t afford the most luxurious of hotels then there are plenty of others to choose from. There are plenty of hotels just off the main Strip, which immediately means they can offer better rates and are more affordable for the average tourist, such as the Meridian and the New Frontier. If you prefer to be further away from the centre of the Strip’s action then you could try establishments downtown along Freemont Street, where there are still plenty of hotels and casinos to choose from, but without quite such extreme over-the-top glitz. Why not try the Golden Nugget or Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel for a cheaper stay, especially if you are a poker fan!
Whatever you want from the hotels you stay at you can be sure to find something to suit you and your budget in Las Vegas. Many establishments also offer a variety of rooms so you can enjoy the splendour of the building in general without having to pay over the odds for a room. Make sure you check out your options so that you get the best possible deal before you go ahead and book you vacation. |
