Las Vegas Casinos Guide

When you think about Las Vegas you probably automatically think about casinos and gambling. The city has a well earned reputation for housing some of the most glamorous, opulent, and over-the-top casinos in the world, which bring tourists flocking from all over the world so that they can experience the lifestyle and indulgence of the area. If you want to be at the centre of all the action then you will want to head for a place at the heart of the Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard. For slightly more subdued surroundings but still within an area of intense casino activity you can head for Fremont Street.

When it comes to the casinos in Las Vegas you’ll find that many have no clocks and no windows, so you lose your guide to how much time has passed leaving you free to become totally absorbed in your games; a dangerous prospect for running through your money!

Just about every casino you will find in Las Vegas has got a huge range of slots and video poker machines, plus a choice of Blackjack and Roulette tables, and a number of Poker rooms. However, as a guide, beware of visiting the poker rooms if you aren’t experienced at playing the game. Some of the world’s top players frequent the top casinos in Las Vegas and if you want to lose money then a simple way would be to play against these players! If you really want to play poker and you’re not that experienced find a less famous place and you will stand a chance of having an enjoyable game without losing your shirt.

When you’re making the most of what the casino and hotels have to offer you get the chance to use a player’s card if you are also going to be playing on some of the casino games. These cards often provide discounts and give you access to the various slot machines and gaming tables. Any discount you receive on these cards is great if you’re on a limited budget.

All that’s left to say really is, have a great time, think positive when you’re gambling and we hope you come home with more than you left, even if it is only in terms of memories and experiences rather than cash!
